SERVICE

Each year we plan and host fundraising events large and small to raise money for our Foundation, participate in community events to create understanding and build relationships with the people and businesses we serve, and coordinate monthly service projects for members and guests. We work with a variety of local charities, so be on the lookout for our upcoming events and service opportunities.

Between July 2022 and June 2023, 86 volunteers completed 12 service projects for a total of 196 hours of service.

For example, Sunset Rotarians, family members, friends, and guests…

• Packed boxes for Celebrate Birthdays.
• Volunteered to serve at Beers on the Pier at the St. Petersburg Museum of History.
• Organized and hosted Rotary Day at the Rays Pregame Tailgate Party.
• Contributed to the Ready for Life holiday gift drive.
• Removed litter from the Pinellas Trail every other month throughout the year.
