Who We Are
We are an evening Rotary Club that is geared for the young and “young at heart”. We meet for drinks and dinner around “Sunset” (6:15 – 7:30 PM) to listen to engaging speakers, plan service opportunities, and enjoy each other’s company. Aside from our weekly meetings, we also have socials, fundraising events and parties, and service opportunities that members and guests can volunteer for. If you are looking for a club that is geared for professionals who work during the weekdays, and want to give back to your community after work or on the weekend, then the Rotary Club of St. Petersburg Sunset is for you.
What We Do
Our club was chartered in September 2010 and we have been hard at work for nearly three years! Each year we plan and host fundraising events large and small to raise money for our Foundation, participate in community events to create an understanding and build a relationship with the people and businesses we serve, and do lots of local service! Some of our latest service projects include getting down and dirty at Habitat for Humanity builds, running the bocce event at the Special Olympics, working in community gardens with Edible Peace Patch, and volunteering at the local Surfers for Autism event. We work with many local charities and have lots of exciting events and service opportunities being planned for the upcoming year.
The best way to become a member of our club, or to simply see what we are all about, is to join us for a meeting. We have a rotating schedule:
1st Wednesday: Club Social
2nd Wednesday: Speaker Program – St. Petersburg Museum of History
3rd Wednesday: Club Board Meeting
4th Wednesday: Speaker Program – St. Petersburg Museum of History
5th Wednesday: Special Programming
When you come, feel free to bring a friend.
Contact our Membership Chair at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
