Painting a Fence for Brookwood

The Sunset Club is pulling together to paint the perimeter fence around Brookwood Florida’s St. Petersburg campus. The St. Pete facility is an accredited and licensed therapeutic group home for 50 adolescent girls (ages 13-18). We are looking forward to returning to Brookwood to help make a difference for these girls!
**We got rained out on two consecutive scheduled dates – Will be rescheduled for a Saturday in the fall!

Rotary Rocks the Half
The Sunset Club is putting together a team for the Rock-n-Roll Half Marathon that is coming to St. Petersburg! We will be using the event as a fundraiser for a cause, tying it into our service goals. Details to follow.

Special Olympics

One of the club’s favorite service projects from 2011, we really want to get involved with the Special Olympics again in 2012. We will keep an eye on their upcoming schedule and hopefully will have more details to follow!

Surfers for Autism

A few of our folks got the opportunity to help out at a Surfers for Autism event in June 2011 and said it was incredible. The club would like to get involved with the next event they bring to the Tampa Bay area. We will keep an eye on their upcoming schedule and hopefully will have more details to follow!
