The Rotary Club of St. Petersburg Sunset became an officially chartered Rotary Club on September 16, 2010. Though we have been meeting since 2009, we are all quite excited to have now achieved this milestone as we continue to create and develop our club.

Today, we are a diverse, fun-loving, dedicated, and passionate group. Our goal is to bring a new attitude and hands-on approach by working on service projects in our local community, as well as throughout the world.

The first step in getting to know more about our club is to come visit us for a meeting. We meet weekly and our doors are always open to guests. Visiting our club really is the best way to get a sense of what we are all about and you can also participate in any of our upcoming club activities and projects.

Once you get the chance to see our club in action, as the Membership Chair of our club, I can walk you through the club membership application process. We host a multi-step membership application and orientation program. This helps us to ensure that prospective members meet club criteria and approval, and just as importantly, so that interested club members get the opportunity to fully understand the ins and the outs of our Sunset Club.

So if you, or someone you know, has an interest in service and Rotary, there are just two simple steps that you can take to quickly learn more about us:

Step 1 – Send an email to membership@stpetesunsetrotary.org so that we can provide you more information about our club.

Step 2 – Come visit us at our next meeting! We meet every Thursday from 6 -7:30 PM at Tangerine (Hilton Lobby), at 333 1st Street South in downtown St. Petersburg.
