I am so thankful…

As I sit here with my family and reflect on the incredible past year, I just wanted to take a moment and let you know how thankful I am for our incredible Rotary Club of St. Pete Sunset. I am honored to be surrounded every week by such incredible people, passionate hearts, and wonderful souls…

Thank you for all the contributions you have made to get us to where we are today, thank you for allowing me to lead this club as we grow and strengthen, and thank you for believing in our club which makes it such the incredible club that it is today.

Happy Thanksgiving to each of you and your families.

You don’t want to miss the meeting this Thursday!

We will have an incredible speaker during this Thursday’s meeting! The speaker is our very own Rotary District 6950 Assistant Governor, Will Miller. He will be presenting on his special expertise in unidentified aerial phenomena and extraterrestrial intelligence…and he has tailored his talk to fit the interests and requests of our club! This isn’t just a hobby for Will, he is a renowned expert and is consulted on a regular basis on the subject. You do not want to miss this presentation! With the bizarreness of Halloween right around the corner, this is a great chance to extend your knowledge of the unexplained and life beyond earth! Come join in this enlightening discussion!

p.s. If you come to the meeting please bring a bag of Halloween candy for a service project we are working on!

Board Meeting Wednesday

October 25th, 2011

Don’t miss this month’s Club Board Meeting! It will be hosted on Wednesday evening, October 26th, at the Club President’s house (email Daphne at sunsetrotary.daphne@gmail.com for more details). The doors will open at 6:00 to mix and mingle, and then the meeting will start officially at 6:30. The meeting will be over by 7:30-7:45 at the latest. For club members, this is a great opportunity for a meeting make-up. Hope you can join us!

Sunset Social this Friday!

Our club has had a lot going on as of late…so let’s relax together this Friday evening!
Let’s gather as a club and invite our loved ones, family members, and friends (and anyone else interested in our club!) to come join us for some laughs and friendship.

We’ll meet at The Yard (http://theyardstpete.com/).
With the weather cooling off, their back patio area is the perfect spot for us! It has lots of picnic tables and is great for silly adults and little kiddies to run around…

Tonight is First Board Meeting of the New Year!

July 19th, 2011

The 2011-12 Board of Directors will be holding their first Board Meeting tonight at Daphne’s House. The meeting officially starts at 6:30, but feel free to arrive anytime after 6:00 for fellowship. Please bring an appetizer to share.

All club members are welcome to attend. Remember it counts as a meeting makeup!
