Our Board Meeting is tonight. We will be meeting at Treasurer & President Elect, Tobin’s house.
Please arrive at 6:00pm. The meeting will start promptly at 6:30pm, and we will be done by 7:30pm.
All club members are invited to attend. Remember it is a great way to make-up a meeting!
Don’t miss this month’s Club Board Meeting! It will be hosted on Wednesday evening, October 26th, at the Club President’s house (email Daphne at sunsetrotary.daphne@gmail.com for more details). The doors will open at 6:00 to mix and mingle, and then the meeting will start officially at 6:30. The meeting will be over by 7:30-7:45 at the latest. For club members, this is a great opportunity for a meeting make-up. Hope you can join us!
The Service Projects Committee will be meeting this Sunday at 6 PM over some tasty and delicious gluten free snacks to discuss several things of great import. If you want in on the truly important decisions about international service, grant applications, organizations we’ll be partnering with over the rest of the Rotary year and what our calendar will be, then this meeting is for you. The membership committee will be meeting on Wednesday, August 24th at 6:30PM. We will be talking about recruitment plans and club retention. All members are welcome! Email Janene for location info!

This week’s meeting is our monthly Club Assembly! What does that mean? Well, it’s almost like our club business meeting. The new Rotary year just began on July 1st, so this week our meeting with focus on the year ahead. I’ll 
provide some input as to where I think we are headed; the committees will provide overviews of the exciting service projects, events, programs and speakers in the year to come; and we’ll have a discussion about the impact the Sunset Club is going to have on the local and global community. This is one meeting not to miss as we plan, scheme and dream the year ahead! Please join us for this meeting!

This is the LAST joint Board Meeting of the incoming and outgoing Boards, and there will be time for incoming and outgoing positions to chat one-on-one during the meeting.
Board Meetings are open to all club members and count as a meeting make-up.

2. We have a ‘Sunset 101′ at 7:00 p.m.!
First, come join us for a Membership Committee Meeting at 6:00 p.m. The meeting is open to any and all interested in helping with the tasks of developing strong Sunset Club membership. We’ll discuss the ‘ins and outs’ of the club membership activities. We’ll do some membership brainstorming, talk about what’s coming up in the world of membership, and make some fun plans!
Second, we have a ‘Sunset 101′ starting at 7:00 p.m. Are you interested in learning more about our Sunset Club? Or just want to hang out with some good friends and have a great cup of joe? Come join us for an informal chat about our club, Rotary International, and what we have all been up to. We’ll meet at the Globe Coffee Lounge from 7-8p.m. 
So we’ll be at The Globe on Monday night!
