Come join us as our Club volunteers with Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County on Saturday, April 10th!
Habitat for Humanity has built more than 170 homes in Pinellas County and they need our help to get to number 200!
We will be volunteering from 8:00 a.m.-2:30.p.m. on Saturday, April 10th
- Closer to the date we will know our site location and can coordinate some carpooling (which is strongly recommended by Habitat)
- Habitat will provide water on site and we’ll each bring a lunch.
- We need to wear shoes that will protect our feet (shoes with closed toes and closed heels).
- Habitat will provide the tools we need, but if you wish to bring your tools from home, they recommend that you mark them with your name. They also highlight that it is especially helpful for us to bring our own work gloves, a pencil, hammer, and tool belt or nail apron if you have it.
We hope you can join us in assisting Habitat for Humanity build a home!
This service opportunity is open to everyone – whether you are a Club member or would just like to get to know our Club a bit better!
We need 10 – 12 volunteers for this service opportunity.
Please email Daphne Macfarlan at membership@stpetesunsetrotary.org to reserve your spot!
As Habitat states “With your help – and the help of others – Habitat pledges to continue to build homes – one at a time – until everyone in Pinellas County has at least a simple, decent place to live!”
Let’s help them achieve this goal!
