January 27th, 2010We have finally settled into a permanent meeting place for our weekly meeting.
The club will meet every Thursday 6-715pm at Midtown Sundries, 200 1st Ave S. St. Pete. (You can park in the garage and get your ticket validated at the restaurant).
Please come on in and join us for a meeting!

Moving right along, our next goal is becoming a chartered club.

January 19th, 2010The Provisional Rotary Club of St. Petersburg Sunset is proud to announce our first fundraising event!
THE DETAILS
Who: Anyone and everyone who wants to have a good time for a good cause.
What: A fundraising event benefiting Rotary and Heels to Heal, an organization of Women Healing Women and Children. It is a 1920’s themed cocktail event. Food. Drinks. Mystery Bottle Auction. Raffles. Tickets are $20 each. To purchase tickets online, click here.
1920’s attire is encouraged. There will be prizes for best dressed!
Where: Gatsby’s Reatuarant at 340 Beach Drive North in St. Petersburg.
When: Saturday, February 20th from 7-11pm.

Trying Out a New Spot on the 21st!
January 14th, 2010We will be trying out a new venue on Thursday, January 21st. Our meeting will be held at Midtown Sundries at 200 1st Avenue South in Downtown St Pete. According to their website, Midtown Sundries customers can validate parking in the McNulty Parking Garage.
As always, the meeting will be 6-715pm.

Still on the Road in 2010
January 7th, 2010The club is still searching for a home for our weekly meeting. We currently have our feelers out on a few final possible venues. In the meantime, we will be meeting at All Children’s Conference Center for the next few weeks. Any guests who would like to join us for a meeting on January 7th or January 14th can find us there.
The Conference Center is at 701 4th Street South in St. Pete. (Head south on 4th Street. Turn right onto 8th Avenue South and then take a right into the parking lot.) The meeting is located in the second building on your right.
As always, we will meet Thursdays at 6pm.
